Our Garden Organic Program is evolving...

The Garden Organic is in its seventh season teaching kids about where food comes from. This year we are affiliated with Iowa State University and Dubuque Country 4H and the Junior Gardener Program. This is a solid, curriculum based learning model that is designed to provide young people the opportunity to become certified Junior Master Gardeners.

Megan Horstman, Registered Dietician for Hy-Vee Asbury Plaza, and lead project developer for The Garden Organic. She began her television career on Kids in the Kitchen as the resident dietitian, and her gardening show idea was spun off as they say in show business.

Sara Carpenter, landscape designer-manager Steve's Ace Hardware, Home & Garden Center, location manager of props, equipment and materials used in production, Sara is also on the air in every episode sharing her vast knowledge of plants and planting techniques.

Tiffany Malcom is with the Iowa State University Extension Office in Dubuque. She's director of 4H. Tiffany worked at Ascension Lutheran Church (Director of Youth & Family Ministries). She studied atAugustana College. Lives in  Dubuque, Iowa . She hales from from  Albert City, Iowa
